On July 24, 2025, another crucial Executive Committee (EXECOM) Meeting for the 25th National Tuna Congress and Trade Exhibit was held at Greenleaf Hotel Gensan.

Key updates from the meeting include an affirmation from SM regarding the safety of the delegates during the Congress. Resolutions for the upcoming Congress, totaling 13, have already been drafted. The Local Government Unit (LGU) has confirmed that the traditional Sugbahan event will still proceed this year, scheduled for September 3. Organizers for the National Tuna Congress (NTC) 2025 are anticipating a higher turnout of exhibitors, with 68% of booths already taken. Additionally, a new website for the SOCSKSARGEN Federation of Fishing and Allied Industries, Inc. (SFFAII) was presented during the session.

All these developments are part of comprehensive coordination efforts as the Congress date draws near. To ensure continued progress, EXECOM meetings are scheduled to be held weekly throughout August. All organizing committees have been strongly encouraged to ensure full representation at the Final EXECOM Meeting on August 26.
